Will I get a fixed price or will costs keep creeping up?
Every project starts with a written quote you approve before we touch anything. If the scope doesn’t change, the price doesn’t change. If you want to add something mid-project we’ll always tell you the cost before we do it never after.
How long will my project take?
Most websites take 4–8 weeks from kickoff to launch depending on size, complexity and how quickly content comes together. You’ll get a timeline with milestones at the start so you always know where things stand.
Do I need to know exactly what I want before we talk?
Not at all. Half our clients come to us with a rough idea and nothing more. The discovery and scoping phase is specifically designed to help you figure that out that’s what we’re here for.
Will I actually own my website when it's done?
Yes. Fully. Your domain, your hosting, your CMS login, your code. Everything is in your name and handed over at launch. We don’t believe in holding sites hostage — it’s one of the reasons we started Raccoon.
Can I make changes myself after launch without calling you?
Yes, and that’s deliberate. We build on platforms with proper content management systems and hand over documentation and training at launch so you can handle the day-to-day yourself. You should never need to pay an agency to change a paragraph.
What platform will you build on?
WordPress, Webflow or Shopify — whichever is the right fit for your project and your team. We’ll recommend one during scoping and explain exactly why, so you can make an informed decision rather than just taking our word for it.

Absolutely, we can work within your current brand guidelines or help you refine them. If you don’t have proper brand guidelines yet, that’s something we can help with as part of the project.
